Product description

Nantucket lightship baskets originated in the nineteenth century on Nantucket Island's famous South Shoal

lightship. Captain and crew took to basket weaving to pass the time on board.

passion for Nantuckets continues into the present century - and we share it. So much so, that we keep inventing

Our Nantucket baskets are made of traditional materials: hardwood, Indonesian rattan cane
