Will this critter guard for solar panels help stop squirrels and rodents from nesting under my panels?

Yes. The 1/2 inch mesh helps deter birds, squirrels, rats and other larger pests from nesting under panels while allowing airflow and drainage. The PVC coated galvanized wire mesh is durable and chew-resistant for outdoor use.

How do I choose between 6, 8 and 10 inch solar panel bird guard mesh?

Measure the gap between the panel and roof. An 8 inch solar panel bird guard mesh fits many standard setups; taller brackets or a tile roof may need a wider critter guard for full coverage.

Does this solar panel bird guard kit include fasteners for installation?

Yes. The solar panel bird guard kit includes 120 stainless steel fastener clips, gloves and scissors. The bird guard clips attach the mesh to the panel frame without drilling.

Will the PVC coated galvanized mesh rust outdoors or scratch my roof?

The PVC-coated galvanized steel is rust-resistant for outdoor use. Its smooth coating helps reduce scratching, while the open wire mesh roll allows airflow and drainage under the panels.

Can this mesh be used for gardens or other outdoor areas?

Yes. Beyond use as a solar panel animal guard, the wire mesh roll can also work as a heavy duty bird netting alternative for gardens, chicken runs, vents, gutters and other outdoor gaps.
