- ALUMINUM PLUS 15% SULFUR TURNS HYDRANGEAS BLUE: Blue flowers need two things - aluminum, and soil acid enough for the plant to take it up. This hydrangea fertilizer supplies added aluminum and 15% sulfur in one bottle, so you are not buying a separate bag of soil acidifier and hoping the timing lines up. - 21-7-7 FOR ACID-LOVING PLANTS: High nitrogen for leaf and stem growth with phosphate held back to 7%, because phosphorus locks up soil aluminium and works against blue colour. That balance is the whole point of an acid loving plant fertilizer rather than a general feed. - ALSO FOR AZALEAS, RHODODENDRONS, BLUEBERRIES AND GARDENIAS: Every acid-loving plant in the garden takes the same feed. Works as an azalea fertilizer, a rhododendron fertilizer, a blueberry fertilizer, a gardenia fertilizer and a camellia fertilizer, in beds or in containers. - EZ TO MIX, EZ TO USE: A concentrated liquid, so it goes to the root zone already in solution instead of waiting on granules or spikes to break down. Apply 2-1/2 oz per gallon at planting and at first new growth every 2 weeks, then once a month. Instantly feeds. - OUR STORY: EZ-gro was founded by Ray DeBruhl, an agronomist and horticulturalist whose patented greenhouse system and agronomic program sold in six countries. That same expertise goes into every bottle of liquid plant food we make. Guaranteed for 12 months.
