Product description
Tai Guo Bitter Gourd Seed
Tai Guo Bitter Gourd Seeds (Momordica charantia 'Tai Guo') produce vigorous vines yielding large, shiny green fruits ideal for Chinese and Asian cuisine. This hybrid matures in just 50-55 days from transplanting, thriving in warm, full-sun gardens. Fruits grow up to 11 inches long and weigh over a pound. For best germination, pre-soak seeds and maintain 80-90°F temperatures. Train vines on vertical supports and hand-pollinate for higher yields. Harvest gourds between 7-12 inches for optimal flavor. Tai Guo bitter gourd is excellent in soups, stir-fries, and stuffed dishes. Young leaves and shoots can also be cooked as greens. The plants resist pests and diseases but require regular watering. A must-have for authentic Asian cooking gardens.
