The Solar Energy Manager A is a solar power management module supporting charging of a 3.7V 18650 lithium battery via solar panels and USB. It offers a regulated 5V/3.1A output (with the Type-C port supporting multiple protocols such as PD/QC/FCP/PE/SFCP). The module includes MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) and battery charge/discharge protection, which dynamically adjusts charging power based on input voltage, maximizing solar energy utilization. The charge/discharge protection circuit monitors battery voltage to prevent overcharging and over-discharging, ensuring battery safety and longevity. Its stability and efficient charge management make it suitable for applications such as solar power generation, low-power IoT devices, environmental monitoring, and portable power banks.

When the module's USBA connector and 3.5mm output terminals are not connected to any load, the board is in a low-power output state, and the output voltage at these ports is approximately 2.5V. When a load is connected, it will automatically output 5V. After the load is removed, it will still maintain a 5V output voltage unless the board is recharged via USBC or the activation button is pressed once to put the board back into sleep mode.

（4）USB C Charging/Discharging Connector: The battery can be charged or discharged via a TYPE-C Figure 4-1 Solar Energy Manager A Resource Overview data cable, supporting multiple protocols such as PD/QC/FCP/PE/SFCP; （5）3.5mm Terminal Output: Outputs up to 5V/3.1A power.

（6）3.5mm Battery Input Terminal: Connects to 3.7V rechargeable lithium battery.

（7）PH2.0-4P Battery Input Terminal: Connects to 3.7V rechargeable lithium battery.

（8）Output Activation Button: Activates output after low-voltage lock state.

（9）Battery Charge/Discharge Status and Voltage Pins (header not soldered).

（12）MPPT Voltage Setting Switch: Adjusts MPPT voltage based on solar panel input to optimize charging efficiency. The MPPT setting voltage should be less than or equal to the input voltage
