Has a Type-C port? This won't fit! Please switch to our "for Ring Battery Doorbell only" model.

How can I tell which solar panel version I need?

Check the back of your doorbell. If there is a Type-C port, you need the "for Ring Battery Doorbell only" version. If it only has two screws and NO Type-C port, it requires the "for Battery Doorbell Plus/Pro, Doorbell 3, 3+, 4" version.

If the Ring app doesn't show "Charging", is the solar panel not working?

Not necessarily. The app may not always display the "Charging" status immediately. Don't worry ? your camera's battery level is likely still increasing. Allow some time for the battery level to show an increase.

How does it work at night or when there's no sunlight?
