VOLT 100W Slim Line Low Voltage Transformer (15V) with Timer/Photocell

- LOW PROFILE MAGNETIC TRANSFORMER - Slimmer, lighter and simpler to install, we eliminated unnecessary voltage taps. Just use the single 15V tap, which enables you to compensate for voltage loss even on a long or heavily-loaded run. Designed for use with LED bulbs and fixtures, this is all you need for any small LED landscape lighting system. Note: Never load any transformer to more than 80 percent of its capacity (80W for this model). - ENGINEERED TO OFFSET VOLTAGE DROP - The dedicated 15V output seamlessly offsets natural voltage loss. All power drops the farther it travels - so while a standard 12V output is generally fine for short cable runs, it's common to see dimming by the end of long or heavily-loaded runs. Just like our much larger transformers that also feature 15V or even 22V taps, this compact unit's output starts at 15V so all of your low voltage fixtures actually receive the 12V they need. - MODULAR TIMER WITH PHOTOCELL INCLUDED - Visible through the housing window, this timer can be set for simple dusk-to-dawn operation or set to turn off after a certain number of hours. The photocell is built into the timer. - EASY INSTALL - The clamp-type terminal blocks are impressively easy to use - taking seconds to connect - compared to many minutes of frustrating work for standard terminal blocks. Just insert the stripped wire and close the clamp! Accepts up to 10-gauge wire. - HIGH PERFORMANCE - This low voltage transformer's toroidal core allows for more reliable, efficient, cooler and quieter operation than comparable EI laminated types. It's also superior to electronic transformers, which may not be compatible with LED circuits, suffer from extensive voltage loss, and are subject to overheating and premature failure. - LIFETIME WARRANTY - With an industry-leading warranty, this Slim Line Transformer is designed for a lifetime of worry-free use - we guarantee it. The core, stainless steel enclosure and all electrical components are backed by our lifetime warranty.

With its sleek stainless steel cabinet, convenient clamp-style terminals, professional-grade toroidal core, and timer with photocell included, this innovative low voltage transformer is unmatched in its simplicity of installation and operation.

This transformer's toroidal core allows for more reliable, efficient, cooler, and quieter operation than comparable EI laminated types. It's also superior to electronic transformers, which may not be compatible with LED circuits, suffer from extensive voltage loss, and are subject to overheating and premature failure.

A low voltage transformer is at the heart of every landscape lighting system. It converts 120V current to a low voltage current between 12-15 VAC. The efficiency of this conversion determines how well the transformer controls the voltage output and how much energy is consumed in the process. With high quality toroidal cores, robust wiring and premium internal components, VOLT transformers are the most efficient in the industry, providing high performance and energy savings.
